Horton Mechanical Contractors, Inc. (HMC) was founded in 1983 by Keith R. Horton and has established a tradition of quality craftsmanship in the mechanical industry. HMC is a fullservice mechanical contracting firm specializing in an array of mechanical services including industrial piping, power plants, air conditioning, heating, plumbing, sheet metal, automatic temperature control, electrical and waste/wastewater treatment, energy retrofit, life safety systems and preventative maintenance.

Certified

As a 100% certified African American owned enterprise, HMC carries both Baltimore City MInority Business Entrepreneur (MBE) and Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT) MBE certification. We are a proud member of the Local 486 Plumbers and Steamfitters Union, the Mechanical Contractors Association (MCA), and The COUNT Program (Contractors and Unions Together). With Mr. Horton’s 35 years of experience with the Local 486, the MCA and COUNT, HMC has created a standard of efficiency that its customers have come to expect every time Horton is on a project.

Qualified

HMC provides its services to a variety of clients including commercial, industrial, municipal, private business, non-profit organizations, and governmental institutions. We are headquartered in Baltimore, Maryland and have a staff of more than 65 qualified estimators, draftsmen, project managers, and field supervisors that allows us to handle any size projects with maximum supervision.
