Safety

Our people are our most important asset

At Horton Mechanical, we take pride in our safety record and our ever evolving efforts to improve the safety and health of our workforce and work environments. We believe that our people are our most important asset and that the preservation of employee safety and health must remain a constant consideration in every phase of our business. It is our policy that we will provide a healthy and safe work environment for all of our employees, safeguard to the public on all of our projects, and to abide by OSHA and all regulatory agencies pertaining to our industry.

Every member of the Horton team holds safety to the highest regard and safety is a primary corporate goal. As a condition to working with Horton we require that all safety regulations and polices are adhered to and are committed to constant implementation and review of safety guidelines. We provide safety education and training to all employees and the use safety equipment provided.

Our subcontractors are expected to abide by the provisions outlined in our safety policy and all regulatory requirements including regulations set forth in their subcontract agreements. Our health and safety program is strong and constantly evolving, even surpassing some construction regulations which allows us to fall right in line with contractors who may partner with us to complete a project.

We have developed a Construction Safety & Health Program at Horton Mechanical, where the goal is to have an injury free workplace by delegating the responsibility and accountability to all involved in the company's operation. As part of this program, every employee is kept up to date with its guidelines, receives training, planning, and how to implement the program to reduce risks and create safer environments.
